My research interests include the design of control and estimation systems for medical and assistive devices. My current research involves the development of control algorithms and system integration to enhance automated insulin delivery in an artificial pancreas for Type 1 diabetics. Previously, my work focused on building a more responsive robotic wheelchair to help people with neuromuscular diseases.
