5th-year Graduate Student
Department of Chemical Engineering, UCSB

Research

My primary research focus is the development of novel Proportional-Integral-Derivative and Model Predictive Control algorithms for Artificial Pancreas applications in the treatment of people with Type-1 diabetes. I am currently involved with constructing innovative methods of tuning particular PID and MPC controller variants according to subject parameters for eventual clinical trial applications.
